Landlord Void Credit for Properties Marked as No Longer Managed (NLM)

Q: Why don’t properties marked as “No Longer Managed” on Helpthemove's portals receive Landlord void allowance credits on final bills?

A: Void allowance credits are only applied once an account has been billed within PIPS (OVO Partnerships Billing System). When a property is marked as NLM, it is no longer processed within PIPS and is instead released into business-as-usual (BAU) handling. As a result, it does not meet the criteria required for void credits to be applied.

Q: Could void credits be applied if the property is managed again in the future?

A: Void credits are only applied once a property is actively managed and billed within PIPS. This ensures that any credits are accurate and applied at the correct stage of the property’s lifecycle. By doing this, we avoid the risk of duplicate or incorrect adjustments and ensure a consistent approach across all accounts.

Q: Why is this approach important?

A: This process ensures accuracy and prevents duplicate or incorrect credits being applied, maintaining consistency across all accounts and avoiding the risk of over-crediting.
